Magneto

This is the packaging and base art for Magneto and features Sideshow’s product photography. Using Photoshop, I enhanced the product image to blend into a visually captivating scene using original art to create a burst of energy, light and swirling effects, taking inspiration and visual cues from the classic Marvel character and the art of Jack Kirby.

The base art that is applied to the bottom of the figure was designed as a multi-color silkscreen creating an original illustration using the same elements from the
package art.

I was responsible for the concept, design, and licensing submission and approval from Marvel Comics for mass production. I was also responsible for prepping files for pre-production, color separations for the multi-colored silkscreened base art, and sending files to overseas manufactures, checking color proofs and pre-production samples for final approval.
