Jabba the Hutt on Throne Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure Eye Decals

For the Jabba the Hutt on Throne Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure, I was tasked to create three sets of eyes for an interchangeable feature to show Jabba in his most famous looks. Using the factory production “white-ware,” tracings are made for proper decal size for each set of eyes. Then using reference images and source material from the film used props, and the sculpted product itself, art is created to accurately represent the eyes of Jabba the Hut from Star Wars: Episode VI- Return of the Jedi. One interesting aspect in recreating Jabba’s eyes is that the screen used eye props not only open and close but the pupils also dilate and constrict like real eyes which are represented in the decals.
