Daredevil

This is the packaging and base art for Daredevil and features Sideshow’s product photography. Using Photoshop, I enhanced the product image and shifted the color to blend into a visually captivating scene, using original art to create a cityscape taking inspiration and visual cues from the classic Marvel character.

The base art that is applied to the bottom of the figure was designed as a single color silkscreen using the characters logo with a tie-in to the packaging art.

I was responsible for the concept, design, and licensing submission and approval from Marvel Comics for mass production. I was also responsible for prepping files for pre-production, color separations for the multi-colored silkscreened base art, and sending files to overseas manufactures, checking color proofs and pre-production samples for final approval.
