Captain America

This is the packaging and base art for Captain America and features Sideshow’s product photography. Using Photoshop, I enhanced the product image and lighting effects to blend into a visually captivating scene, using original art to create an explosion, taking inspiration and visual cues from the classic Marvel characters costume in creating the wrap around panels.

The base art that is applied to the bottom of the figure was designed as a multi-color silkscreen using the characters icon and type logo.

I was responsible for the concept, design, and licensing submission and approval from Marvel Comics for mass production. I was also responsible for prepping files for pre-production, color separations for the multi-colored silkscreened base art, and sending files to overseas manufactures, checking color proofs and pre-production samples for final approval.
